| I'm hosting this site on a server different from Mess.be, because should Mess.be go down I would still be able to report about the situation here. But since I don't own this server it means I have to endure all those irritating little hosting problems and that's also why dwergs.com was suspended for a couple of days because of excessive bandwidth usage. I mean come on, I only used 1 gigabyte! Ah well... |

dwergs says: What time is it? |
| It's 9:14 PM. After 6 years of wearing none, I bought me the most expensive watch I ever spent money on. It's one out of the Series Four from Diesel and goes 50 meters deep, which is kinda stupid because water won't do the leather band any good. Oh well. It's 9:21 PM now. Good evening. |

dwergs says: Break Down The Doors |
|
Break Down The Doors is the first single off Erick Morillo's forthcoming album My World. It's got the UK Audio Bullys on the lyrics. I kinda like the eerie sound to the song but although I'm not a big fan of the track it seemed to a real floorfiller when I heard Morillo play it in La Rocca last month. The single is out on Subliminal on 14th June and his buddy Naomi Campbell features heavily in the video. Check other tracks I recently "discovered" (and that got me hooked) in the dwergs listens box to the left. |

| Remember DJ Danger Mouse's Grey Album, mashing up The Beatles & Jay-Z? Now somebody combined Jay-Z's Black Album with Weezer's Blue Album, calling it Jay-Zeezer. Frankly, I don't like it that much but thought the effort was still worth mentioning. |

dwergs says: More Pukkelpop 2004 |
| I told you earlier that I already bought my ticket for the Pukkelpop festival in August without knowing too much about the complete line-up of bands & artists. I had a gut feeling it would be worth it anyway, and damn right I was. New names include: The White Stripes, Miss Kittin, Dizzee Rascal, Tiga, Mylo, Franz Ferdinand, Adam Freeland, 50 Cent, Phoenix, Seelenluft, Stijn, Ricardo Villalobos, Kid 606, Chicks On Speed, Luciano & Alter Ego (and others). I guess I'll see you there! |

This morning 7 AM my hometown was woken up by a train crash, which luckily didn't end up a disaster but for the pedestrian tunnel which got.. well, just look at the pictures I took: trashed. I walk through that tunnel a couple of times each week, so good thing I wasn't on the dole last night ;) ![]() |

| The latest in mobile text messaging: the air SMS. Nokia will release a cover for their upcoming 3220 model (ETA: Summer 2004) that allows you to write messages of up to 15 characters in the air by waving it left-right-left-right. There are already rave toys that do this, but I think that when it hits mobile phones it's gonna be a huge hype! |
