dwergs says: Quentin Tarantino to direct CSI |
| Cool! As many of you have probably noticed, QT is one of my favorite directors. And I always enjoy an episode of CSI before going to bed. But I doubt it'd be wise to go to sleep right after seeing something Tarantinesque. |

| I like my house soulful. You know, the likes of Blaze, Kings of Tomorrow, Julius Papp, DJ Spen, Rasmus Faber and Osunlade. So I was more than happy to bump into Fresh Grooves (Michael Fossati) and Lemike's homepage, both pushing a weekly fix of sexy grooves. Goes straight into my bookmarks! |

dwergs says: Human After All |
|
Daft Punk's new Human After All album sounds dull at first, but there are some tunes on there that will rock your summer. Believe. The Daft Club that was opened with the release of Discovery seems to have been completely abandoned, but we get a Daft Television instead. I've installed it, but now I need to find its remote control... Could it be included with the CD, to be released halfway March? BTW: Reminds me AN AWFUL LOT of Mess Media. |

dwergs says: FUNkeys are fun indeed! |
FUNkeys are enlarged computer key stools manufactured by UK & Japan-based designers Garnett and Koyama. Each £175 US key (about 330 USD) is individually produced to the customer's specific choice of color and command.Think about the ambiguity of placing your "derrière" on the End key, or what about the cheerfulness of having your dominant wife seated on the Control key... and your retard mother-in-law on Home! |

dwergs says: A television channel site like it should be! |
|
All television channels should have a web presence like the Dutch, rebellious BNN. That's gigabytes of bandwidth... and to think this station doesn't even have that lot of money! While you're at that page, check out episode 6 of Mystery Party for a Kill Bill-inspired party! And if you really understand the language, try some episodes of Neuken Doe Je Zo for a sucksexful approach to sexual education. |

|
Arcade is the brand new light installation of Project Blinkenlights. Following up on the original Blinkenlights installation in Berlin, Arcade marks a new step in interactive light installations in public space. In the context of the Nuit Blanche art festival in Paris, the team transforms the Tower T2 of the Bibliothèque nationale de France into a huge computer screen. With a matrix of 20 x 26 windows (resulting in 520 directly addressable pixels) and a size of 3370m2, the Arcade installation is positioned to be world's biggest computer screen ever. >> Pixels taking over a building. |

dwergs says: Play every old school Sega and Nintendo game for free! |
|
Once upon a time me and my brother spent around $60 US per game for our Nintendo 8-bit console. Today almost our entire collection can be played from the web =\ - Airwolf - Bionic Commando - MEga Man - Donkey Kong 3 - Double Dragon II - The Goonies II (just as great as the movie) - Legend of Zelda (classic!) - Mike Tyson's Punch Out (best 8-bit sports game *ever*) - Metal Gear (both nelly's "hot in herre" as unkle's "rabbit in your headlights" reminded me of one of this game's songs) - Super Mario Bros - Super Mario Bros 2 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (this game had a serious bug which never let me finish it) - Top Gun (my brother's fave, but I always had to do the landing part) - Wizards & Warriors (*loved* this game and its music) - Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link (got stuck in the very last castle) Also fun is finally playing those games I always wanted but never bought (in some cases maybe for the best): - Contra - ExciteBike - California Games - Faxanadu - Ghosts 'n Goblins - Gun Smoke - GI JOE - Kid Icarus - King's Quest V - Pro Wrestling - Rygar - Skate or Die!! |
