dwergs says: Maxence Cyrin - Modern Rhapsodies |
|
I admit, I'm into piano re-interpretations of famous songs, Jamie Cullum, Richard Cheese or Paul Anka style. Today I add Maxence Cyrin to that list, a french pianist who pays an hommage to electronic music in 14 tracks. Standouts are "Jaguar" originally by Rolando, "Windowlicker" by Aphex Twin and of course his version of "Go" by Moby, but then it sounds like the original (Twin Peaks soundtrack) again by Angelo Badalamenti. >> Preview the album and see him at work here! |
